Information we collect
Visit statistics
Our own website software counts page views without cookies. It records the page you visited, the referring website, your browser type, device type, operating system and an approximate country. It does not store your IP address: visits are counted with an anonymous identifier that changes every day, and the country is looked up at the moment of the visit without keeping the address. Known bots are filtered out. We keep these statistics for about 13 months.
Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service from Google, to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as pages visited, time on site and approximate location. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Contact form
When you send us a message, we store your name, email address, subject and message so we can reply. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share these details. We delete messages we no longer need.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site go to Amazon or to brand stores through affiliate programs. When you click one, the destination site and the affiliate network may set cookies to record that you came from UnderDeskWalker, so that a commission can be credited if you buy. Their use of cookies is covered by their own privacy policies, such as Amazon's privacy notice. We count clicks on these links without cookies, recording only the product, the page and an approximate country.
How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The site does not currently show display advertising.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to delete it or correct it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, but you can make any request by emailing support@underdeskwalker.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and stores data on a secured server. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Our guides link to manufacturers, independent reviewers, government sources and retailers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.
